What a campaign costs
Quick answer. You set a budget and a rate per thousand verified views. The budget divided by that rate is the number of views it buys, and you are charged against views the platform’s own API confirms. There is no platform fee on top, no retainer and no minimum term. There is no rate card either, because the rate is yours to set per campaign.
The four numbers you set
Budget
The total you are willing to spend. The campaign runs until it is used up or you close it, so this is a ceiling rather than a commitment to a date.
Rate per 1,000 views
What you pay for a thousand verified views. Budget ÷ rate × 1,000 is the view target, and the campaign page shows that figure to creators before they join.
Payable threshold
The minimum a single clip has to reach before it earns anything. It keeps the budget away from clips that never moved, and creators see it before they commit an evening.
Cap per submission
The most any one clip can earn. It stops a single viral post consuming the whole budget when you wanted reach across many creators.
How the arithmetic actually runs
Take a budget of $1,000 at a rate of $2 per thousand verified views. That buys 500,000 views. If the threshold is 1,000 views, a clip that reaches 900 earns nothing and costs you nothing. If the cap is $100, no single clip can take more than a tenth of the budget however far it travels. Those are the figures in this example only — the ones that apply are the ones you set on your own campaign.
Views are read from TikTok, Instagram and YouTube APIs rather than reported by creators, and each clip is reviewed against your brief before its payout is approved. A clip that misses the brief is rejected and its views are not charged.
Why there is no rate card
Because any number we published would be wrong for most briefs. What a thousand views is worth depends on the category, the format, how restrictive the brief is and how much work a clip takes — a logo placement and a filmed product demo are not the same job. Brands set their own rate per campaign, and creators decide whether it is worth their time with the rate, the threshold and the cap all visible before they join.
What moves the rate in practice is covered in what determines your CPM, written for exactly this question.
What is not charged
No platform commission
The platform commission on creator payouts is 0%.
No retainer
No monthly minimum and no term. A campaign is a budget, not a contract period.
No per-creator booking fee
You are not charged for the number of creators who join, only for verified views.
No charge for rejected clips
A clip that fails review against your brief does not draw on the budget.
